Monday 9th January 2023, we witnessed the inaugural call of Azamara Onward to our shores. A small contingent, including the Deputy Premier the Hon. Eric Evelyn, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, the Nevis Tourism Authority, and the Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority went onboard the ship for a small ceremony welcoming the ship to our shores for the first time. Ms. Elisabeth Vogel, the Hotel Director accepted both plaques from the NIA and NASPA as well as presented plaques to the beforementioned on behalf of the captain of the ship Captain GeianMario Sanguineti.
