Cargo Dues
Cargo Dues shall be calculated at 35 cubics ft. or 2200 lbs. per ton (whichever is the greater) landed or loaded. Only full tons will be used when calculating cargo tonnage subject to cargo dues Manifest Weight. Totals expressed in pounds will be converted to the nearest full ton. Fractions over a full ton but less than 0.5 (1/2) will be dropped. Fractions over a full ton but more than 0.5 (1/2) will be rounded to the next highest figure.
No cargo dues will be made on ship's store.
Cargo transshipped through the ports will be assessed cargo dues at the rate of $20.00 per ton of 2200 lbs. or 35 cubic ft. and will be granted one authorized free time period (10 days) granted, and wharfage will be charged.
Cargo delivered on the port for export and not loaded on a vessel berthed at the port and subsequently moved inland from the ports is subjected to Cargo Dues, after a period of 24 hours.
