Remembering Constable Deon Bergan
The Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of the Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority are very sad to learn of the passing of our beloved Constable Deon Bergan.
Constable Bergan started his employment at NASPA on June 3rd, 2013. After a two-year break with another assignment, he returned to NASPA in June 2016 and has been employed with us until his untimely passing. Throughout his 8 years at NASPA, he has contributed greatly to our development. Whenever called upon to do a task he was willing and able. He was also one of the hosts for our Security edition Inside NASPA broadcasting.
Ag. Corporal Mildred Charles stated, “Constable Bergan was a person full of life. He was always on point. Time was a factor for him, he was respectful, loving, and always willing to lend a helping hand. To his family, they meant the world to him. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. From the security family and NASPA as a whole our sincere condolences to you all at this time.”
Inspector Rovena Jeffers stated, “Constable Deon Bergan was a very hard, effective, and reliable worker. He was someone who I could call upon at any time once he was available and was always willing and able. He will be greatly missed by the security department and the whole of NASPA.”
General Manager Oral Brandy said, “Mr. Bergan was a dedicated employee of NASPA. He would have grown to love his job and was seen as a future supervisor in his department. It is our prayer that his family would be comforted to know that he has contributed to and served the stakeholders of NASPA well.”
Constable Bergan will surely be missed at NASPA.
The Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of NASPA extend heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Constable Deon Bergan. May they all find comfort through the grace of God.
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Joseph Liburd
