The Port Authority is a statutory body with over 100 employees, effectively serving the needs of the entire public. Plans are currently on the way to expand its air and sea port services to better accommodate our present and potential clients. We are committed to bringing our best to everyone we serve.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Airport Manager for the smooth operations of the entity. He will assist the manager in planning, directing, and coordinating the general operations of the airport.

Duties
The successful Applicant will be required to:
·       Coordinate, manage, and monitor the workings of the various operating unitsÂ
·       Implement best practices by improving processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
·       Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
·       Organize placement of staff as required, delegate tasks, and establish work schedules.
·       Supervise staff and monitor and evaluate performance.
·       Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery.Â
·        Facilitate coordination and communication between the various units.
·       Assist top management in the development of strategic plans for the organization and to implement and manage operational plans.
Qualifications
·       A diploma preferably in Management or a related field.
·       Must be a team player, people-oriented, and can motivate his/her staff and manage conflicts.
·       At least 5 years experience at a middle management/supervisory level in an organization.
·       Good communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound management decisions.
·      Have a desire to undergo further training in management and airport operationsÂ
